Your library card can unlock worlds of possibilities; one of these worlds is the excellent learning resource – Scholastic Teachables! With your library card, access this wonderful resource that provides a wealth of exciting and fun activities to reinforce learning.  

From preschool to 8th grade, Teachables provides a wide range of activities – from art and crafts, to lesson plans, to worksheets, to everything in between.  

Below, we have broken down just a few aspects of Scholastic Teachables!

Resources for Your Student 

This rich resource is for educators, and who are our educators? As well as the intrepid staff at our school districts, educators also include grandparents, babysitters, homeschool teachers, parents, after-school program staff, aunts and uncles, and many more looking for interesting things to do with the students in their care.  

Need an after-school activity for growing young minds? Print out one of the fun worksheets above to keep your kiddo occupied. Don’t have a printer? We provide 200 free printing credits to anyone with a Library card – drop by one of our locations to make the most of this resource! 

Teacher-created lesson plans and activity sheets

Your library card gives you free access to valuable resources on Scholastic Teachables. Where you usually would pay for this curriculum, through your library card, you have access to easy to print lesson plans, worksheets, activities, learning games, and more.

Leveled Learning

These resources are graded for PreK up to 8th grade. The learning and enrichment tools are organized by levels of learning to help you find age-appropriate resources. 

 

Many Subjects 

There are materials to support learning for many subjects: math, science, reading comprehension, sequencing, STEM, writing, social and emotional learning, and foreign languages, to name a few! 

Does your student have test anxiety? This resource also offers specific materials on test prep and even mock tests themselves. Help them prepare for an upcoming exam by having them practice with a Teachables test at home!
