Rid Yourself of Magazine Clutter and Cost

Do you have back issues of Newsweek, Better Homes and Gardens, and Audubon cluttering up your every countertop, table, and drawer? Poudre River Libraries can help!

We have a solution for you with Zinio— a digital magazine distribution service that the Library District subscribes to. Magazines can be read on computers, smartphones, or tablets and can be downloaded to read later.

With your library card, you have access to over 80 magazines for kids and adults! Some titles even have back issues from 2013. Download hot titles like Newsweek, O, Organic Gardening, Popular Science, Outside and Field & Stream. For a full list of titles click on the Download Tab at www.poudrelibraries.org and scroll down to Magazines and the Zinio link. If you’ve already been using Zinio, we’ve added over 30 new publications including 5280 Magazine, Allrecipes, Inked, and The Atlantic.

Creating an account and using Zinio is simple. Our Digital Literacy Librarian, Kristin Draper, has created easy-to-follow instructions to guide you through the process. It can be found here.

To get started, navigate to Zinio in “Z” under the Research Tab or Download Tab. Once you’re on that Zinio page, click “create account” at the top right-hand corner. You will then be prompted to enter your library card number. Click next. Fill out the next form with your information. A confirmation email will be sent to you to activate your account. Once you’ve clicked on the link in the confirmation email, your account will be set up and you can begin reading and downloading all the different magazines your memory can hold to your computer, smartphone, or tablet!

Don’t forget you can always call our Answer Center at 970-221-6740, join one of our monthly drop-in classes or come by one of the libraries if you have any trouble.
