Welcome to this week’s Tween Zone Weekly Challenge: Sidewalk Chalk Paint!
Creating art with sidewalk chalk is a great way to get outside and brighten up everyone’s day.
If you don’t have any chalk, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Sidewalk chalk paint is simple and cheap to make – you may even already have all the ingredients! We even have a few suggestions for how you can make brushes with supplies you may have around the house, in case you don’t have any brushes already.
Remember to share a picture of your complete art project and use the hashtag #PoudreLibraries. We’ll share as many photos as we can before the next week’s challenge begins.

1. Write words of encouragement and kindness for your neighbors
2. Create a hopscotch or adventure trail for younger kids
3. Use painter’s tape to make a chalk mosaic
When you are done, take a picture and share what you’ve made using the hashtag #PoudreLibraries. We can’t wait to see what you make!
